Description
The 1025 Dokdo Cleanser is the cleansing step of Round Lab’s signature Dokdo range. It is a soft cream that whips into a fine, creamy lather, and the brand describes it as a low-pH, gentle face wash designed to remove everyday impurities, fine dust and light makeup residue while respecting the skin’s moisture barrier.
Like the rest of the line, it is built around Ulleungdo deep sea water, paired with a short list of comforting ingredients. Many people use it as a morning wash on its own, or as the second step of a double cleanse after an oil or balm in the evening.
Key ingredients
- Sea water – the Dokdo line’s signature mineral-rich ingredient.
- Mild cleansing agents – such as sodium cocoyl isethionate and potassium cocoyl glycinate, known for a creamy, comfortable lather.
- Panthenol and allantoin – for a soothing feel after rinsing.
- Hyaluronic acid and ceramide NP – included to help skin feel hydrated and supported after washing.
How to use
- Dispense a small amount into wet hands and add a little water.
- Work it into a creamy foam, then massage gently over the face.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water.
Who it suits
The brand presents it as suitable for sensitive skin, and its balanced, non-stripping finish suits normal, combination and oily skin as an everyday cleanser. Very dry skin may prefer to use it once a day and a milk or balm cleanser at the other wash.
Good to know
Size: 150 ml. Keep the foam away from the eyes; if it gets in, rinse well with water.
As with any new skincare product, patch-test on a small area (for example behind the ear or along the jaw) for 24–48 hours before using it on the whole face. Stop using it if redness, itching or stinging persists, and avoid applying it to broken or irritated skin. Always check the full ingredient list on the packaging you receive, as formulas can be updated by the brand.
