Description
What it is
mixsoon Bean Cream is the moisturizer that completes the brand’s Bean line. It comes in a 50 ml jar and uses the same four-ferment blend found in Bean Essence (soybean, pomegranate, barley and pear), set in a cream base with plant oils, panthenol and a group of botanical extracts. mixsoon describes it as a nourishing cream that delivers deep hydration and helps skin look more elastic and radiant, while still feeling light and non-sticky.
The texture is a soft, whipped cream that spreads easily and absorbs fairly quickly. The brand also suggests using a thicker layer at night as a sleeping mask during cold, dry weather, which makes it a flexible option for Canadian winters. It is labelled vegan by the brand.
Key ingredients
- Lactobacillus/Soybean Ferment Extract: fermented soybean, the signature of the Bean line, used to condition skin and support a smooth, supple look.
- Pomegranate, barley and pear ferments: a supporting ferment trio meant to improve softness and radiance.
- Panthenol: provitamin B5, a humectant and skin conditioner widely used to comfort dry or stressed skin.
- Limnanthes Alba (Meadowfoam) Seed Oil: a stable plant oil that helps reduce water loss and softens the skin surface.
- Glycerin: a classic humectant that keeps the skin hydrated.
- Adenosine: an ingredient commonly used in Korean formulas for the look of smoother, firmer skin.

Who it suits
Bean Cream is a good match for normal to dry skin that wants comfort without the heavy, oily feel of a rich balm. Combination skin can often use it as an all-over moisturizer, especially in winter. If dryness is your main concern, our best Korean skincare for dry skin guide has more ideas. It layers naturally over mixsoon Bean Essence.
Who should be careful
Despite being sold as suitable for sensitive skin, the formula includes bergamot, lavender and Roman chamomile oils, which some people react to. Bergamot oil can also increase sensitivity to sunlight, so daily sunscreen matters. People with a soy allergy, or with very oily, breakout-prone skin that dislikes plant oils and fatty alcohols, should approach it with care.
Patch test first. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear and wait 24 to 48 hours before using it on the face.

Frequently asked questions
Is mixsoon Bean Cream fragrance-free?
It has no synthetic perfume, but it does contain essential oils, so it is not fragrance-free in the strict sense. People who avoid all essential oils should skip it.
Can Bean Cream be used as a sleeping mask?
Yes. The brand suggests applying two or three layers at night in cold, dry weather so the skin feels softer and more moisturized by morning.
Is Bean Cream good for oily skin?
It is fairly light for a cream, so some oily skin types enjoy it, especially in winter. If you break out easily from oils and rich emulsions, try it on a small area first.
What is the difference between Bean Essence and Bean Cream?
The essence is a watery, minimal formula meant for hydration and texture, while the cream adds oils and emollients to seal moisture in. Many people use both, essence first.
