Description
What it is
Ceramic Cream is TIRTIR’s barrier moisturizer, a rich but whipped cream meant as the last step of your skin-care routine. The brand says it strengthens the skin barrier, locks in moisture and calms redness, and describes a texture that absorbs quickly without a greasy film.
Ceramic Cream is a long-running TIRTIR moisturizer that comes in 50 ml and 100 ml jars, and the brand markets it as free of parabens, sulfates, artificial fragrance and mineral oil. It also calls the formula silicone-free, but the published ingredient list does include silicones, so read that claim with care.
Key ingredients
- Ceramide NP: a skin-identical lipid that helps reinforce the moisture barrier
- Butyrospermum parkii (shea) butter: a rich emollient that softens rough, dry patches
- Olea europaea (olive) fruit oil and macadamia seed oil: plant oils high in the list that give the cream its cushiony, nourishing feel
- Polyglutamic acid and trehalose: humectants that help hold water in the skin
- Centella asiatica extract: a soothing botanical for redness-prone skin
- Allantoin and betaine: calming and hydrating supporting ingredients

How to use
- Cleanse, then apply toner and any serum.
- Take a pea-sized amount with clean fingers or a spatula.
- Warm it between your fingertips and press it over the face and neck.
- Use a little more on dry areas such as cheeks and around the mouth.
- In the morning, follow with sunscreen.
On very dry days, apply it over slightly damp skin to help seal in the water from your toner.
Who it suits
Ceramic Cream suits dry skin, skin that feels tight or stings after cleansing, and sensitive types looking for a ceramide moisturizer without added fragrance. It layers well over a hydrating toner such as the TIRTIR Milk Skin Toner. For more ideas, see our best Korean skincare for dry skin guide.
Who should be careful
Macadamia seed oil comes from a tree nut, so people with nut allergies should avoid it. The oils and beeswax may feel heavy on very oily or acne-prone skin; use it at night only or on dry areas. Although the brand says it has no artificial fragrance, it contains anise and rosemary extracts, which have a natural scent.
Patch test first. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear and wait 24 to 48 hours before using it on the face.

Frequently asked questions
Is TIRTIR Ceramic Cream good for sensitive skin?
It is designed for dry and sensitive skin and lists no added fragrance, but it does contain botanical extracts and a nut oil, so patch test.
Can oily skin use Ceramic Cream?
The brand says it is non-comedogenic and suitable for oily skin, but its oil-rich base may feel heavy. Many oily-skin users keep it for night or winter.
Does Ceramic Cream contain peptides or niacinamide?
The brand’s marketing mentions them, but the full list we reviewed does not show niacinamide or a named peptide.
How is Ceramic Cream different from Milk Skin Toner?
The toner is a light first hydration step; Ceramic Cream is the richer last step that seals moisture in.
