Description
What it is
Mask Fit Aura comes in a silver compact and gives the Mask Fit coverage a luminous twist. TIRTIR describes a semi-glow finish with buildable coverage that can look natural or high-coverage, and claims radiance that lasts up to 72 hours. Pearl-like pigments (mica) in the formula help light bounce off the high points of the face.
Aura is the brand’s current glow-finish option in the Mask Fit line and comes in about 20 shades on TIRTIR’s global store.
Key ingredients
- Mica: a mineral pigment that adds a soft sheen for the semi-glow finish
- Sodium hyaluronate: a salt of hyaluronic acid that helps the formula feel comfortable on drier skin
- Betula platyphylla japonica (birch) juice: a botanical juice used as a light hydrating ingredient
- Caesalpinia spinosa fruit and Kappaphycus alvarezii extracts: plant and seaweed ingredients often used to create a smooth, film-like feel
- Titanium dioxide and iron oxides: pigments for coverage and shade

How to use
- Moisturize and apply sunscreen first.
- Press the puff lightly into the cushion.
- Pat the formula onto the face in thin layers, starting at the cheeks.
- Build a second layer only where needed.
- Skip heavy powder if you want to keep the glow; blot the T-zone instead.
For a lit-from-within look, concentrate the second layer on the centre of the face and keep the edges thin.
Who it suits
Aura is for people who find matte foundations flat or drying: normal and dry skin, mature skin that looks better with some light reflection, and anyone in a dry Canadian winter. Shades use a number for depth plus a letter (C, N or W) that most shoppers read as cool, neutral or warm undertone. The exact range changes by market and over time, so check the current shade chart before ordering. Pair it with a hydrating routine from our dry skin guide.
Who should be careful
Glow finishes can look shiny on very oily skin by midday; the Red Cushion may last better there. The formula contains denatured alcohol fairly high in the list and added fragrance, which some sensitive skin types dislike. The SPF figure comes from Korean-market packaging; versions sold in North America may not carry an SPF claim, because sunscreen rules differ. Either way, a few taps of cushion rarely deliver the amount needed for the labelled protection, so keep a dedicated sunscreen underneath.
Patch test first. Apply a small amount to the inner forearm or behind the ear and wait 24 to 48 hours before using it on the face.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between TIRTIR Aura and Red cushion?
Aura has a semi-glow finish and suits normal to dry skin; Red is semi-matte and usually preferred by oily and combination skin.
Is the Mask Fit Aura Cushion good for mature skin?
Many people with mature or dry skin prefer glowy finishes because they sit more softly on fine lines. Use thin layers.
Was the Crystal Mesh Cushion replaced by Aura?
The Crystal Mesh Cushion is no longer listed on TIRTIR’s global store; Aura is the brand’s current glow-finish Mask Fit cushion.
Does Aura cushion oxidize?
The brand claims long wear without mentioning oxidation. Test a shade on your jawline and check it after a few hours.
